Rural Outreach Reaches Nilgiris District

A specialized team delivered warm winter clothing to over 500 tribal families in the Nilgiris highlands this week. The expedition targeted remote settlements in the Nilgiris district, where temperatures drop significantly during the winter months and access to warm apparel is extremely limited. Our distribution vehicles navigated difficult mountain routes to reach these underserved tribal hamlets. Working closely with local community leaders, the RCCF team distributed blankets, sweaters, shawls, and children's winterwear. "For these families, winter is a harsh reality," noted Vikram Mehta, Community Liaison. "Providing high-quality winter clothing helps prevent seasonal illnesses and ensures children can attend school comfortably."
